Hi, I am having a problem. I use Avidemux on Windos Vista, but the sound played via Avidemux is not heard. There is just crackling. But sound is for other programes without problems.

Check settings in Tools: Preferences: Audio or for 2.6 in Edit: Preferences: Audio

I have tested all options but no help, I can here "nocking" from speakers and not correct sound. :(

Does admlog.txt complain something?

Maybe he just needs to downmix, as his device seems to be right. Try "stereo" or one of the other options on the audio tab.
