Title: Support for OGG Video?
Post by: douche on October 22, 2013, 09:37:28 AM
Hello,
is there a way I can enable encoding support for OGG video in 2.6?

And are there plans to support this by default in the feature?
TIA

I have the same question. Why is not supported OGG video? I'm using Linux OpenSUSE with Theora/Vorbis codec installed, however avidemux_qt5 tell me "Cannot find a demuxer for ..." when trying to open OGG video file.

Thank you

Why is not supported OGG video?

Due to low relevance of Theora, abundance of better alternatives and scarcity of developer resources this is not a priority.

Codec is not a demuxer and yes, there is no demuxer for OGG in Avidemux.
