Title: Unstable size
Post by: fofu01 on November 21, 2016, 11:11:25 PM
Why does it snap back to minimize from full screen when the video starts in "play filtered"? It becomes smaller than the actual video image itself. It seems like an intentional design, because I don't see why it would do that on it's own. Why? It's so annoying.

It does not in 2.6.15. What version are you using?

I'm using both 2.6.8 and 2.6.14. It's been like this for years. I only now decided to complain about it.

OK, I got 2.6.15 but now I'm not getting any audio on play back, both in original or filtered mode. All my other audio devices work.

The window resizing issue you mention was presumably fixed on Oct 16: https://github.com/mean00/avidemux2/commit/18f0680b863496a4cb419f4670c9d5c547260de9 (https://github.com/mean00/avidemux2/commit/18f0680b863496a4cb419f4670c9d5c547260de9), a month after the release of 2.6.14. (edit: actually, that commit prevented window unmaximizing on video load.)

The audio not playing might be due to "dummy" output selected in the "Audio" tab of preference settings. Change it to something working.
