Title: Where to find the AVIsynth Proxy GUI
Post by: Toner on November 30, 2017, 06:36:45 AM
Hey guys,

I was trying to follow this tutorial on how to create a video from a still image and from an audio file.
https://www.avidemux.org/admWiki/doku.php?id=tutorial:create_video_from_still_image_and_from_audio_file

Instructions say:
Open AVIsynth Proxy GUI that is in your AVIdemux install folder.... just head to the AVIdemux install folder and start avsproxy_gui.exe

I had previously installed the Windows 64 version of Avidemux from an executable.
I am not seeing this 'avsproxy_gui.exe' file in the program files or anywhere else.

During the install process, there is an option to install Avisynth_VapourSynth package.
Is that what I need to install?

Presumably, no. At least Avidemux win64 builds packaged as ZIP (http://avidemux.org/nightly/win64/) include avsproxy_gui.exe in the top-most directory. Grab the latest.
