When I try to open the program I get a popup that says (see attachment) Iam running xp pro...

You're not running 64-bit on 32-bit xp?

You do run one of these?

I am running straight xp pro 32 bit, (No emulators) The program I installed was for the 32 bit it said it was when I installed...

try right click and run as administrator for installation
http://avidemux.org/nightly/win32/ -> avidemux_2.7.0_r180107_win32.exe

see if this works?
