I am having a problem with some files where Avidemux won't open the complete file. For example, I may have a 2GB file that is 37 minutes long but when I open the file and jump to the last frame, it stops at 2 minutes. It's like that was the actual end of the file. But that's wrong because when I run the file in Windows Media Player, it plays the full 37 minutes.
I'm editing a long event recorded on a camcorder. The camcorder split the video, which was one long 2 hour shot, into 4 equal parts. I can open the first two files properly in Avidemux but the last 2 files are shortened. Help?
Delete the .idx2 files if these exists for the same named video parts.
Load part 01, append remaining parts manually, don't let avidemux append automatically.
