ANR / crash with Avidemux 2.6.6 when using XV

Setting XV as the renderer crashes Avidemux or leaves it unusable.

What version: Avidemux 2.6.6 QT // Test with GTK Version not possible due to start up bug -> http://www.avidemux.org/smf/index.php/topic,12721.0.html
What system is used: Ubuntu 12.04.3 64bit
