Permit me to humbly suggest that when you develop future versions of Avidrmux, please consider including a '.bz2' file. I mention that because the operating system that I am using (Vector Linux 7.0) comes with a neat little program called "vpackager" which allows me to create and install software from '.bz2' files (such as is the case with DVDStyler, for example).

If that's true, then why is software such as DVDStyler (found at the following link: http://www.dvdstyler.org/en/downloads) still using such a format? I think that the kernal.net information that you provided only applies to them.

Sorry about that, but I was just trying to be helpful by suggesting something that would make things a little bit easier for us Slackware users.

Don't feel sorry about this, no problem. Did you read/tried this from your previous question: Installation help please
