Goal: bringing keyboard PageUp and Pagedown in line with Arrow UP Arrow Down.
Currently Arrow Up goes forward in time index/line as
- PageUp = goes to Marker [A]  (Backward in time index/line)
- PageDown =  goes to Marker [ B] (Forward in time index/line)

reversing action of one of the sets either way.

Thanks for looking in to this matter and time permitting of course.

To clarify, current behavior in Avidemux is this:

PageUp = previous marker
PageDown = next marker
UpArrow = next i-frame
DownArrow = previous i-frame

It would make much more sense to do one of the following:

PageUp = previous marker
PageDown = next marker
UpArrow = previous i-frame
DownArrow = next i-frame

PageUp = next marker
PageDown = previous marker
UpArrow = next i-frame
DownArrow = previous i-frame

I personally prefer the first version (down = next; up = previous) since that matches the keyboard shortcut behavior in many other programs.

If Mean is willing to make/allow any change in behaviour, I would vote for "UP to associate with NEXT" and "DOWN with PREVIOUS".

That said - I don't care what the associations are. Simply because there is no association set that suits all end users across all OS's and with all variations of hardware.

This is such a minor quirk that IMHO it just isn't on the development radar by Mean.
Indeed if the current association suits Mean then there is no point in bringing this issue up again.
Maybe if someone makes a patch to suit, it might be pushed.
And maybe then another set of users would complain because their "experiences" suggest "it's not right".
