WMV output format
« on: August 14, 2017, 12:43:15 PM »
I like AVIDEMUX because I cut videos without losing quality in MP4, TS, MKV but it's not possible with files .WMV
Please, add WMV to "Output Format". I need to cut several WMV files without losing quality.

Works in Windows 10 x64.  Just remember to install the right Visual C++ redistributable, then it will work.

I think AVIDEMUX should add WMV on "Output Formats".

Is probably not going to happen: due to
- Windows Media Components License Agreements
- and other reasons such as:
Quote
- ... WMV has been the subject of numerous complaints from users and the press. Users dislike the digital rights management system which is sometimes attached to WMV files. The loss of the ability to restore licenses for WMV files in the Windows Media Player 11 was not positively received ....

WMV is completely obsolete now.

Nevertheless, a reliably working demuxer would be nice.
