Lo siento por no responder en español. Yo mismo no sabe leer ni escribir en español. Así que no estoy seguro de si la traducción estaría bien.

with Avidemux 2.5.6 QT load video
Video: MPEG-4 AVC
Filters: Subtitles: Subtitler: press green +
Now in active filters: Subtitler: [Configure]
Subtitle file: open and browse to location of .srt file
Font (TTF): open and browse to a .ttf font like: /usr/share/fonts/truetype/freefont/FreeMono.ttf
Encoding: UTF-8
press [OK]
now press [Preview]
move slider from left to right, you should be able to see subtitles on video clip
press [close]
select preview icon
play video, check subtitles again
should be showing in window showing at the right, left window shows original video

Thx for the answer my english is bad to, but this isn't my problem, my problem is when I open filter/subtitle/ass I select ass file but when I click in ok or close (I dont remember the name of botton) the program is block, I leave for 2 hours but when I returned was still blocked, I suspect the problem is a some library, help me plis ^^

SO: Ubuntu 12.04
Version: 2.5.6

Most likely there is an issue with .ass and avidemux 2.5.6, when I tested it blocks to.
If you're on a 64-bit computer you can try this avidemux 2.6 build:
2.6.0_64bit_r8022_12.04
.ass is working (only option available) if you don't do fancy stuff with it.
If that is no option, install subtitle editor and convert .ASS to .SRT

Marthus

Yes, but I really need ass sub

If you are on 64-bit computer download this and install on your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit:
avidemux Cli/QT/GTK 2.6 64-bit deb download ubuntu 12.04 LTS  <- click
If you are on a 32-bit computer, try building (compiling) yourself the avidemux 2.6:
Requirement list (debian/ubuntu) <- click
