Sweet spot tweaking (SOLVED)

Now that I am using 2.6.1, I was wondering what are the best settings for optimal results?

At the moment I am noticing that when I set the start marker and end marker for a snippet of video, when I save the file and play the snippet, it doesn't start at the place I set the start marker. It starts 2-3 seconds before. Is there a way to fix this?

Select video cut point (begin/end) only with up/down keyboard arrow keys!
