GUI even with --nogui

I want to pre-build my indexes as mythtv creates recordings so I use:

avidemux3_qt4 --nogui --rebuild-index --autoindex --load Man*.mpg --quit

But the gui is up while it is building the indexes.

Use avidemux3_cli instead
and no need for --rebuild-index/autoindex, they are automatic with 2.6

You should probably use a small tinypy script such as  that one
