what is the latest version of Avidemux, and....

Can anyone tell me what is the latest version of avidemux , and where to get the latest versions as they come out.

The version i currently have is  --->   2.6.8 9052

i am running win7 pro 64bit .

the revision numbers are gone for some time now. Date is now used and part of hash tag from github commit.
the latest avidemux_r010315_094d_win64.7z can be found here: http://www.avidemux.org/nightly/win64/

i downloaded and installed , all ok.

i noticed in the video drop down box on the left of the program there are 2 x  mpeg4 AVC (x264) options is this normal to have 2 the same in there ?

Also is there an exe version of this or should i just drag and drop all zip files and overwrite older version.

It's due to qt5, the plugins were moved and as a result you see the "old" plugin from the old location and the new

ok how do i correct this, do i just delete the whole directory (which the older version was in and i over-writ it) and unzip the new version into that.?

yes x265 is there as well, there is only 1 listing of it as there should be.

there are 2 listings of x264 mpeg4 avc

Also i notice the current x264 codec is core 142 , yet the one in avidemux is core 123 , can this be updated ?
