How to save audio only?

I know the most basic of the raw basics for this wonderful program, and that's about it. I have an mp4 with aac audio in it, and I'd like to know how to save that audio. I'll keep looking for an answer until I get a reply. Thanks!

Have you tried giving the saved audio track the extension .aac?

Otherwise use audacity. drag & drop onto: audacity (windows requires audacity FFmpeg import/export library, found on Optional Downloads) and save to the required format.
