Best resize algorithm for 2:1 downsize

Is Bilinear the best algo for a straight 2:1 (linear dimension) downsize? With Lanzcros being better for non-power-of-2 downsize ratios. For example:

1920x1080 -> 960x540   Use Bilinear

1920x1080 -> 854x480   Use Lanzcros

Test and see what suites you best. A lot could depend on the kind of video you're downscaling (anime, sport, ...)
