Title: cannot manipulate audio volume
Post by: jumi99 on August 27, 2013, 02:34:46 PM
Hi

I'm using avidemux 2.6.4 on Gentoo Linux.
I cannot manipulate volume control both in mp4 (h264/aac) and avi movie clips.
The volume control in Audio -> Filters is always grey.

I don't have Pulseaudio installed on my Gentoo.
Do you think it may be the reason ?

thanks for help

Are you talking about the playback volume or the Gain audio filter ?

It is only un-greyed when you select manual gain

I used to put auto-gaining, but in most of case where the reproduction is manipulated at the beginning the audio goes out of sync by several seconds.
This doesn't happen if auto-gain is disabled.
Normally I convert into mp4, because I've a Sony Bravia and Androids to read these files.
