Title: [Resolved] Problem audio
Post by: Bertrand on December 27, 2013, 05:45:37 PM
Hello,
I am french and sorry for my english  :)
felicitations for avidemux !

I want cut some records type HD from program TV. With version 2.6.6.or 2.6.7, avidemux don't recognize the audio. When I look at the proprieties, there is nothing about Audio.
With MediaInfo these is the audio information :
3 audio streams : E-AC-3

Why avidemux don't recognize E-AC-3 ?
sincerely
Bertrand

I note that Mediainfo identifies 3 audio streams in the transport stream but only shows 2.
I wonder if there is some information stored on the DVB recorder used for audio - video association.
Avidemux doesn't have that and is trying to decode a non-existent 3rd audio stream.

Pure speculation of course, but maybe try pointing to one of the existing audio streams (menu - audio - select  track).
Worth a shot!

Thanks for response !

When I choice one track, a error appair : Some tracks are used multiple times
???
With the view "basic" propose only the 2 first audio stream but a view "sheet" detail the 3 audio tracks.

The record was realized with Xeobox HDC8200

Is it all right ?  :-\

If no, say me another method for transfert my little video...

The file does not contain PMT (i.e. list of programs), so avidemux tries to guess what's inside but the guessing code does not support E-AC3
Adding support for it
(btw, the TS is slightly invalid due to the missing pmt)
