Title: Start Directory.Folder v2.61 not sticky
Post by: photonak on February 26, 2013, 09:11:24 PM
Hi...earlier version I used 2.5.6 the start directory was the last used.  With this new version 2.6.1. it's not returning to last used directory.
Anyone else noticed that?  WinXP in use.

Download and 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) unpack, replace installed content with its content, either:
32-bit: avidemux_r8492_win32 (http://avidemux.org/nightly/win32/) or 64-bit: avidemux_r8492_win64 (http://avidemux.org/nightly/win64/)

Hello and thanks, now it works fine in nightly builds.

But while trying it, I have discovered some issues with projects.
1) when opening / saving project, path is saved to prerences under lastfiles:lastdir_read/lastdir_write instead of lastprojects:lastdir_read/lastdir_write, I would defnitely like to have paths of projects separated from that of media files.

2) buttons "Load/Run project" and "Save project" are not working at all. This is probably consequence of enabling more possible types of projects, but to have one button is still benefical for user and can be achieved rather seamlessly. As of loading project, avidemux can recognize its type from the content of file. As of saving, maybe one type could be made default (possibly changeable in settings).

3) And of naming: I like much more "Load project" than "Run project" as second seems to me, that encoding will start immediately, which is neither true nor wanted.
