I'm trying to rip some Frasier DVD's but am having a small problem with the audio. At the beginning of each converted video, the audio stops for 1/4 of a second. I think it either has to do with the deinterlacing or maybe a variable frame rate (or pull down?) during the parts where text is onscreen. I have tried saving the audio separately but it slowly goes more and more out of sync. By the end there is a good 2-3s delay.
I'm using avidemux 2.6.7
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
I don't think DVD's have variable frame rates.
If its an NTSC DVD - maybe it has more than one pulldown pattern?
If that isn't being dealt with it might cause audio sync issues.
Never seen such a DVD though as I am in PAL land.
Food for thought only!
