Title: How to use the scripting shell to set markers A & B
Post by: gmjames on June 02, 2016, 10:59:32 AM
Please advise:

Is there a way to input data on the Scripting Shell to set the start and end times for Marker A & Marker B? If so, what is the command?

Thank you,

GM James

I haven't looked at scripting in forever, so much so that everything's probably changed, but... see this very old (five years!) thread for some info on the nuances of marker/segment management when scripting. It might be of some assistance / inspire some ideas.

Apologies that I can't provide more current and/or informed input, but I don't even have a working avidemux install right now to experiment with. (Just upgraded to Fedora 24, and ffmpeg 3.0.2 and/or gcc 6 appears to be causing the expected headaches.)
