Some movies have the sound poorly synched with the film. Is it possible to synch the sound in such movies. Can Avidemux do it and how. I see that VLC attempts not very well for me, to do this but then how does one save such changes

If the sync error is constant you can shift the audio time line in avidemux.
Tick shift under audio output in the GUI and set the shift in ms.
