Hello Everybody,
Trying to encode to several formats a video, I could not transform the video (original : Xvid, mp3, avi) into x264, AAC (lav), mp4. Avidemux says : audio problem (bitrate, channels, ...).
I tried to change several things in the audio menu (at the left), but nothing changes.
I remember that le 2.5.6 version added no problem with the audio encoder Faac.
Is there any trouble with the aac (lav), and in that case could you check it within the code, or
could you please give me some tips to overcome the trouble ?
Many thanks in advance.
one more thing : I use the windows 23-bits version (http://avidemux.razorbyte.com.au/ version 7970 )
Sorry to be so boring ...
The other archive :
avidemux_2.6_r7970_win32 (from http://sourceforge.net/projects/avidemux-mswin/files/beta/2.6/7970/avidemux_2.6_r7970_win32.zip/download )
seems to work well and uses the FAAC audio encoder.

It is the nightly that does not work ?
I do not know exactly. I think these are beta versions.
But, The two archives (portable version), I mentioned, are not the same, since the are more audio and video encoders for the later (that is for sourceforge : http://sourceforge.net/projects/avidemux-mswin/files/beta/2.6/7970/avidemux_2.6_r7970_win32.zip/download ), which does work for H264 + AAC (but FAAC !), .mp4 .

To correctly answer : yes it is the nightly version that does not work :
http://www.avidemux.org/nightly/win32/
r7970 (of yesterday).
The Beta seems to work properly ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/avidemux-mswin/files/beta/2.6/7970/avidemux_2.6_r7970_win32.zip/download ) with the FAAC audio encoder. But one more thing : with the beta version, the AAC(lav) does not work like the nightly version.

ok, fixing it
The next build should be ok for both
Thanks.
It works now and correctly. The movie is encoded. So test passed ... ;-)
