Title: Luma only filter?
Post by: ewing on April 28, 2013, 01:48:08 PM
There used to be a luma only filter available in version 2.5.  I am using 2.6.1 and it has been removed.  I have some old black and white TV show clips that show slight green coloring on the edge and I want to get rid of it.  I was able to do this with the luma only filter.

\Is there a way to do this in 2.6.1? Looking online I keep getting referred back to the now non-existent luma only filter.  It still has an entry at the Avidemux wiki.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if it will ever return? Perhaps still present in 2.5.6? Could you not use in 2.6.# Blacken borders filter to get rid of the green edge coloring? Only filter I see is for badly synced luma/chroma: ChromaShift. This works on the whole picture. 2.5.6 and 2.6 can exist/work alongside each other.

Boy, do I feel stupid for missing the Greyscale option.  I looked at every filter in every category and somehow just totally missed it.

Thanks!
