Every time I try to save a video, the audio is always out of sync. How can I solve this problem. I place the A and B marckers and then save the file. When I open it with Movie Player, the audio is always out of sync.
If you are still on 2.5.4 move to newer version 2.5.5 or 2.5.6. If working with h264 encoded video 2.6 would handle these (still experimental - beta).
Thanks! Is there a PPA that I should use so that I can upgrade to the latest version? I'm running Linux Zorin OS distro 5.1.
No PPA. Zorin OS 5.0/5.1 is based on Ubuntu 10.10 Natty Narwhal. If 32-bit OS, nightly build can be found here: nightly build natty 32-bit (http://avidemux.org/nightly/natty32/)
<-clickdonwload the 4 debs and install in this order:
- avidemux3-core-2.6.0-r7###-Linux.deb
- avidemux3-plugins-COMMON-2.6.0-7###-Linux.deb
- avidemux3-qt4-2.6.0-7###-Linux.deb
- avidemux3-plugins-QT4-2.6.0-7###-Linux.deb
Where ### represents the revision number (934).
If 64-bit you need to build yourself: Compiling Avidemux 2.6.x (http://www.avidemux.org/admWiki/doku.php?id=build:install_2.6)

I followed your instructions. Once I have done this, where do I launch Avidemux from? I don't see it under Applications/ Sound & Video.
The other thing is that I kept getting this notice when installing the deb's.
