Title: How to jump to next keyframe (on timeline)?
Post by: pstein on March 15, 2016, 02:06:05 PM
Assume I loaded an *.mp4 video file into Avidemux.

I want to cut some parts out of it.

How can I jump to the next (ore rpevious) keyframe (in timeline)?

When I click on the 5th and 6th round button, then cut some parts) and want to save it later then Avidemux tells me:

"The video is in copy mode but the cut points are not on keyframes....."

So 5th and 6th buttons are not keyframe-jumping operations.

What else?

or these:
or Go to previous intra frame (keyframe)
or Go to next keyframe
or similar representation, depending the used OS and skin.
source: avidemux wiki user interface (http://userinterface)
would be the same as pressing keyboard up / down arrow key

- if you upgrade recently avidemux3 delete the .idx2 files of the video (same name.idx2) and reload the video. See if this solves the issue?
- Your video starts with keyframe?
at start of video:
once keyboard up arrow, once down arrow.
mark [ B]
cut lead in : [Ctrl][X]
save video now
reload save video and edit this one?
