The file is loaded, the info shows that the file contains an aac stream but when is played there is no sound.

I'm using avidemux 2.6.20 64bit under win7

It does play here with sound in Avidemux v2.7.0 (170430_15d66e73c19) on ubuntu 16.4.2 amd64
Check your preferences in Avidemux menu: Edit: Preferences

Thank you! Changing from dummy to win32 in preferences=>audio solved the problem ;D
