Today I've tried to compile a movie with subtitles but whenever I try to preview the image or save a file, the program crashes. The problem has not occurred yet, and I have encoded several movies.
Error message?
What tells %APPDATA%/avidemux/admlog.txt
Video Content is this HD TV? Avi with more then audio tracks? ...
Here's the log: http://pastebin.com/CicpH6cW. This is the video in 1080p resolution and MP4 format.
I've solved this problem by loading a 720p video. However, when I try to insert subtitles in italics, there are only {i} and {/i} signs in the picture. Is there a way to make italics?
The .srt tag should that not be:
<i> and </i> for italic
<b> and </b> for bold
<u> and </u> for underline
OK, sorry, it is how you wrote. However, the effect is that the tags are visible in the video, but there are no italics.
Maybe not supported? Developer(s) can perhaps shed a light on this. Wiki talks only over color:
Video filter Subtitler: color (http://www.avidemux.org/admWiki/doku.php?id=using:video_filter_subtitler#color)
