Title: PCM audio stuttering
Post by: produktpruefer on September 18, 2013, 06:01:57 AM
Hello,

for videos captured with Canon PowerShot S100 (H264@23,977fps + PCMStereo@1536kbps/48kHz)
the sound is stuttering in AviDemux (2.6.5r8897) while it is played fine with ffmpeg
(in older versions of AviDemux the sound was not played at all, but at least it was correctly processed on conversion).

See this example: http://members.chello.at/~kabelpruefer/mvi_0564.mov

It seems there is no option setting I could change to make this work?

Thx!

Please try with a nightly

Works perfectly - thanks alot!

BTW: the include-directory is part of the nightly package, don't know if that's intended?

Hi,
I have the same problem with Avidemux 2.6.5 (r8897). These are MOV files captured with a Canon 5D Mark II. They play just fine but the audio keeps stuttering. I downloaded the nightly mentioned in an earlier post, but I'm not sure how to install it, or if it even works on my system, a Sony Vaio configured as follows:

i7-3612QM @ 2.10 GHz
8GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics 4000 + GeForce GT 640M LE (2GB)
Samsung SSD 840
Windows 7 Professional 64

Grateful for any help or advice.

Dan
