The Wiki still contains outdated information. See http://www.avidemux.org/admWiki/index.php?title=Compiling_Avidemux#Choosing_what_to_compile .
It says that 2.5 branch is at svn://svn.berlios.de/avidemux/branches/avidemux_2.5_branch/ , which doesn\'t exist. Since the news say that people should download SVN and the download page links to that wiki page, it\'s a pretty important issue IMHO.

I\'ve just updated the wiki page to point to the right place, thank you for reporting this :)
Thanks for that fix to the Wiki. That was a definite problem for users trying to get it to compile.
I have a question about adding new files into repository. I wrote a video filter and I would like to add plug-in to dev branche. I don\'t know If I have to became a member of avidemux project or If can load my changes as anonymous guest. I\'ve created a BerliOS account in case I will need it.
I tried to check out source via SSH (test if SSH works), but I got a message: \"Permission denied\". So what I have to do to be able to make changes in repository.
Well, I would assume that write-access to the Avidemux SVN repository is restricted to the developers for good reason.
Just imagine some \"anonymous\" hacker uploads malicious code to SVN and hundreds of users check it out :o
So in your case you must ask one of the developers to review your code and, if accepted, commit it to the SVN for you.
In case you are actively joining this project, the devs could create a SVN account for you...
Thank you for answer. I think I am agree with that.
Avidemux 2.5.2 = Who ruined avidemux2_gtk Interface, arruibaron to Avidemux (SLOW, hang up, UGLY)
OPS!!
Avidemux 2.5.2 = Interface avidemux2_gtk Who ruined, ruined by Avidemux (SLOW, hang up, UGLY)
I've made a simple video filter for 2.5.2 that allows using avidemux as a "front end" for interactive image processing/analysis using openCV.
I had lots of issues with building it, but thanks to mean's help (in a thread that was lost in the move) I succeeded.
I'd like to try it with 2.6 but the svn:// is blocked here (as is get, cvs etc.) I tried:
svn checkout http://svn.berlios.de/avidemux/branches/avidemux_2.6_branch_mean
but it didn't work.
Is there someway I can download a 2.6 tarball than should be usable?
There is a git repo also

When I try this link from that thread:
http://git.gitorious.org/avidemux2-6/avidemux2-6.git
I get 404: Not Found
I'm on 64-bit Ubuntu 10.04

Checkout Main (2.5.X) :
svn co svn://svn.berlios.de/avidemux/branches/avidemux_2.5_branch_gruntster
Can we use this svn for the 2.5.6 or is a new one needed?
