Title: FILM to PAL - Audio Framerate
Post by: Popeye13 on April 16, 2022, 11:45:51 PM
When converting an audio track to PAL (25fps) usually from its originating 23.976 (Film) it syncs correctly to the 25p video file, however, some files are encoded at 24p, not 23.976, so it goes out-of-sync when converting the audio framerate.
What can i do to prevent OOS? (Using 2.8.0 64bit)

Thanks

Well, 24 fps are not "Film". An audio stretch filter based on RubberBand, contributed by szlldm, which allows a wide continuous range of stretch factors might be merged into git master in near future, so stay tuned.

Of course, nothing can be done about that in 2.8.0 internally, you need to export the audio track as PCM, use an external tool (e.g. Audacity) to stretch audio and re-import it as an external track in Avidemux.
