Hello everybody and please excuse me for my English.
On my previous computer with Windows 7 and a previous version of Avidemux 2.6, Avidemux and x264 did very well their jobs.
Now, on my new computer with Windows 10 and Avidemux 2.6.911, when I try to encode a video file, at each time the encoding process suddenly stop around the half, as if the end of video was reached (I get the message "done!, successfully encoded"), and I get a video file converted but with only more or less the half of the video.
Here is a little more details :
Source Video : Container MP4, Video Codec H264, 10 bit version.
Destination Video : Container MP4 (I chose "MP4v2" on Avidemux), Video Codec H264 with x264 encoder, 8-bit version.
If you need any more details, just ask me.
Could you please tell me how to fix this ?
Thanks in advance.
Does the problem happen when you save to mkv ?
Thanks for this first and very quick reply. :)
I just tried and, unfortunately, the encoding stop exactly at the same point of the video...
I would need a source file that triggers that
By PM, would it be OK for you ?
If yes, could you already tell me your favorite way (Mega ? JHeberg ? An other sharing-file service ? An other way ?) to receive a file which is a little more than 210 MB ?
PM is fine
Whatever service as long as it is free and does not require registration
There is a fatal decoding error around 00:10:36.761
Maybe badly stitched segments ?
It should recover but does not, i'll look into that later
I have similar problem with Windows 7 and Avidemux 2.6.911.
Avidemux stops working random time during enconding, but not always.

Will try to help: no promises.
I've fixed the original issue, please wait till tomorrow and try again with the nightly to see if that fixes the problem for you too
