After upgrading to Ubuntu Linux 23.04 and recompiling Avidemux, it no longer works. See photo file and stderr/stdout log file.
OpenGL is completely broken with Qt >= 6.4.0, this is a known issue, no solution in sight ATM. Please build Avidemux against Qt5 or disable OpenGL if you prefer to stick with Qt6.
Qt5 doesn't work either, because of the following problem, which persists. How can I disable OpenGL?

-recommended to select Video display other than OpenGL
