Title: record from usb
Post by: peekaa on December 27, 2013, 04:52:08 PM
I bought this http://www.logilink.eu/showproduct/VG0001.htm?seticlanguage=en and wonder if Avidemux could record the stream from USB. I would like to save the stream directly in divx, xvid, cause when I use supplied sw, which saves in dvd mpg, then the video file is too big (60MB/1 minute). Thank you.

OH!,, that ever elusive Avidemux 'record' button!!

Once you have opened up the Avidemux 'video editor' program,,
The 'record' button should be located just to the left of the 'play' button.

IF THE 'RECORD' BUTTON IS NOT PRESENT THERE,,
You need to diligently search through the menu items at the top of the Avidemux 'editor' program.
I personally think it should be located under the "Tools" menu item,, but I sense,  the 'record' button might be located under  the "Go" menu options.

IF YA CAN'T FIND IT,, ('coz yes,, the 'record' button is very elusive),,
You need to ensure that you have the most up to date stable version of Avidemux,, and then you need to re-evaluate the reason you're trying to use this fine "video editor" as a "video capture" device?
