hello forum,
i've been trying to figure out databending w/various programs(avidemux, audacity, virtualdub
and court13 datamosh zip)
w/audacity i used the raw/u-law/u-law method, but i couldn't get converted file to open.
i had momentary success w/avidemux, but have not been able to replicate it.
as i understand it,the ratio of i to p frames is a key element.
if somebody could help me with this,it would be great.
my os is win7x64
thanks
found this one for you: however, the avidemux method shown in the videos works like a charm! (http://rosa-menkman.blogspot.be/2009/02/how-to-datamoshing-create-compression.html)
hello jan,thanks for the reply.
the link you provided brought up the court13 tutorial.
i tried that approach a few times w/out any success.
that being said, any reply at all is still very much appreciated.
i suspect the solution isn't all that complicated,i just plain
have no idea what it would be.....
cheers m.
Hi mar,
You just have to play with the I and P frame as M.datamosher says it on the video.
However I think it could depends of the versions of Avidemux or the os of you computer.
I used to datamosh with avidemux on a pc 2 years ago , I just start begin again but on a mac with lion this time, and i can't play with the P frames like I used to do !
For example I duplicate the same P frame 3 times and avidemux freeze with and error message. But Now I just try again and I don't have freeze or error message...weird...
But I'm still thinking that Avidemux 2.5.3 on a mac with lion os is more unstable than my pc version...
