with following instructions:
remove and delete installed avidemux
sudo apt-get purge "avidemux*"
Information update of repositories on packages and their dependencies
sudo apt-get update
Install GIT (source code management and distributed revision control system)
sudo apt-get install git
Get the source code
git clone https://github.com/mean00/avidemux2.git
Go into the cloned folder
cd ~/avidemux2
Run script that checks and install dependencies and builds avidemux.
bash createDebFromSourceUbuntu.bash
that should be it.

From open terminal:
/usr/bin/avidemux3_qt5
Du terminal ouvert:
/usr/bin/avidemux3_qt5
/usr/bin/avidemux3_qt5 >~/Desktop/admlog.txt
When starting avidemux this way it will create a file admlog.txt on the desktop with all steps documented into this file.
You can the compress the file (7zip or zip) and attach to your posting in the forum.
Lors du démarrage de avidemux de cette façon, il créera un fichier admlog.txt sur le bureau avec toutes les étapes documentées dans ce fichier.
