Hello, trying to re-encode some small video files - these source files are H264/aac in mp4 container.
I set video/xvid, audio/mp3, save the file and it crashes.
The crash report in the Windows Event log shows the following:
Faulting application avidemux2.exe, version 2.5.5.0, faulting module libadm_ad_faad.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000014db.
Some incompatibility problem with Avidemux/aac source?
Thanks for any info.
PS I've tried this on recent builds of 2.5 and 2.6 and the crash is the same.
does it work when audio is in copy mode?
Did you try with AVIsynth input?
Copy mode works, as does Avisynth using the proxy.
What is wrong with Avidemux? Even the most basic functionality is not reliable.
This is a serious new issue, see http://www.avidemux.org/smf/index.php?topic=9987.0 (http://www.avidemux.org/smf/index.php?topic=9987.0)
Something must be done!! ;)
I installed an old version of AVIDEMUX (2.43) and the operation worked just fine.
Something wrong with the newer version 2.5 and 2.6.
Fixed for me with r7685.
Thanks for the update.
Just tested it (mp4, x264 avc, aac, MPC's media info attached), old version 2.5.2 doesn't crash, seems to work fine in copy mode.
Versions 2.5 & 2.5 beta 7699 crash.
Joblist is gone in version 2.6. WUT???
"We're on a road to nowhere..."
Mean will fix the joblist once he has fixed few other issues.
