i just installed avidemux 2.6 today, but found out that there were no subtitle filters available inside.. did i installed it wrongly?
Have you installed the plugins: COMMON and QT4?
For linux these would be: avidemux3-plugins-COMMON-2.6.0-8175-Linux and avidemux3-plugins-QT4-2.6.0-8175-Linux
thanks Jan Gruuthuse for the fast reply, but i'm using windows 7 pro 64bit.. is the two plugin you mentioned available for windows platform?
Wouldn't know, are other filters present? Could be ASS subtitle filter is not present/enabled.
If you're lucky perhaps your player supports external .srt subtitles?
Use same name for both video and subtitle file? like:
timelapsefotografie640x360.mkv
timelapsefotografie640x360.srt
Check this thread out: Strange results of hardcoded VobSub into 1080p MKV (http://www.avidemux.org/smf/index.php?topic=10982.msg58864#msg58864), demo is still available for download.
