Title: How do I apply a filter to only part of a video?
Post by: douche on July 02, 2016, 03:03:22 AM
I have a crop filter than I want to apply at different locations at different times in the video, so I need to create multiple crop filters and apply them at different points, but I'm not sure how to do it.

I tried to use Avidemux 2.5, which appears to have this feature, but it crashes, whether I accept or decline the option to change the B-frames at the beginning. (Video is a very large 4HD mp4.)  Since no new versions of 2.5 are coming out, that appears to be a dead end.

you are aware 2.5 development has ended.

Of course, that's why this is posted in the Avidemux 2.6 section.  This is the 2.6 section, right?

I was merely documenting that 2.5 didn't work either to forestall someone telling me to try 2.5.  If I thought this was the 2.5 section, why would I have mentioned that I tried to use Avidemux 2.5?
