Title: Avchd to mp4 and retain the 60fps?
Post by: todd92371 on April 05, 2013, 04:43:09 PM
Hello,
I want to convert some Avchd captured in 60fps to mp4. I've noticed the results are always in 30fps. Is there a way to convert and retain the higher frame rate?

Thanks,
Todd

Yep.

I can't speak for yiur videos, but my videos in question are 30i (IE: 60 fps) videos recorded using roxio game capture HD pro.

I drag and drop em into avidemux, cut out the segment I need along the B/I frames, and use yadif deinterlace, with the "bob and temporal check..." option. You could also probably use the dbob deinterliace, but I haven't tried it.
