Title: no Audio - Codec, Channels, Bitrate, etc. all grayed out in File -> Information
Post by: gregtompkins on January 05, 2016, 07:55:49 AM
I'm trying to split some mpg files and there's no audio even if I just play the file. I don't know what I'm missing. This is Windows 10. Thank You.

Do you have VLC  (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) installed?
Load video into VLC and VLC -> Tools -> Codec Information
This should tell you if audio track is present:
