Title: Replacing Video Segments With Jpgs?
Post by: yetanotherlogin on December 21, 2012, 12:23:46 PM
Hello

I shot a conference with my camcorder during which the speaker showed a few slides but I kept the camera on him to avoid messing with how the camera was set up.

I got the PowerPoint file, and need to edit the video stream so that I can insert some JPGs when the speaker mentions the slides.

Can AviDemux do this, or must I check other (Windows) applications?

Thank you.

It can be done. Create from jpg video clip in same format as produced by camera or in the target video (final format to play)
Avidemux wiki: Create video from still image and from audio file (http://www.avidemux.org/admWiki/doku.php?id=tutorial:create_video_from_still_image_and_from_audio_file)

In 2.6 copy/insert frame is not available, this is working in 2.5.6. If video can't open in 2.5.6: try avisynth.
