My wife would like to run Avidemux on her Mac but it will not launch from the finder. It will launch from the command line. I tried renaming the binary and creating a wrapper script, but this did not help. This is similar behavior that I see on Ubuntu: If you launch Avidemux and then select the Avidemux icon in the launcher and "lock to launcher" you can not later use that icon to launch Avidemux. I'm guessing it's looking for an open stdin, or some such.
Avidemux on Mac 2.6.3 r8518 running on OSX 10.8.3
If you use the boostrac_macOsx.sh script, it will create a dmg with everything relocated properly
