Title: .MOV doesn't import properly
Post by: Cormy1 on January 29, 2020, 04:06:41 AM
I have a .MOV QuickTime movie file that plays fine in VLC, MPC-HC and MPC-BE.
It has 2 tracks of PCM audio, QuickTime Timecode data and the video is described as such across my media players:
ProRes, Version 0 Profile 422 LT, codec: apcs, writing library: AJA Kona Hardware, Planar 4:2:2 YUV 10-bit LE

Imported into avidemux, I just get a black frame with a bar of noise at the bottom, audio doesn't work.

The filesize is around 100MB

ProRes codec is not supported (not enabled in the bundled libavcodec and in related functionality translating between FFmpeg and Avidemux).
