Title: Datamoshing in Avidemux
Post by: avid-avidemux on November 24, 2024, 08:52:31 PM
Hey,

I'm new to Avidemux and I want to datamosh a clip. In the tutorials that I've watched, one of the first steps is to convert your video into a MPEG-4 ASP (Xvid) and change the max I-Frame Interval to "9999999" in the Frame tab under Configure. It seems like I don't have the frame tab and I'm not sure where else I can change the max I-Frame Interval. Not sure if it's in a different area.

Set the "Gop Size" to the maximum.

Thank you, that did the trick. There wasn't too much corruption so I need to look into that.
