Title: Cropping just one segment of a video.
Post by: pursuit95 on December 24, 2024, 02:27:06 PM
Hi.  Is it possible to crop just one section of a video and leave other parts unaffected by the cropping?  If so, can someone please point me towards a tutorial or instruct me in how it's done?

Just to be clear, I know how to crop videos and have done it many times with Avidemux but I have never been able to figure how to do what I am asking.

Thank you.

Set A & B markers to your desired crop range.

Under Filters use the Zoom filter. Remember to lock aspect ratio.

Close the Zoom filter dialogue and under the Active Filters panel right click the filter you have just added and select "Make partial". The times will already match your selection so just click OK.

Close Filters window and under Edit menu, Reset Markers to ensure you export entire video.
