Hi, new on the forum.
I did a search but threads seemed to be from 2016 so I figured since no one uses Windows 7 anymore this might be a niche question.
I work at a school where I have a film course with teenagers. I want to edit films with them on stationary PC's (so we can use real 90 min films to re-edit and have fun in the editing process instead of using CapCut in their phones with their own filmed videos). However, the school cannot afford to buy licenses - and they work on Windows 7.
A friend of mine suggested Avidemux for this but Im not able to find a version that will work.
Maybe someone could point me in the right direction? (if there is one?)

Have you tried any? https://avidemux.org/nightly/
Avidemux definitely works on Windows 7.
Also, here you can find some ideas and tutorial videos for your lessons: https://avidemux.org/smif/index.php?msg=95308
I run a Win 7 PC with Avidemux. Are your Win 7 versions 64bit, or 32bit. The latest 64bit Avidemux versions can be found as follows:

The 32bit versions can be found below. It appears the last release was 2.7.7 in 2021. I don't know if there has been a more recent 32bit Windows version. eumagga could confirm that, but if you're running 64bit Windows 7 there should not be an issue:

Thanks guys!
I don't know which version they got, I will send them both links and hopefully we can get it up and running :)
