the slash at the ending of link makes it "This ___ page can't be found"
Just removing it (on brave browser at least) fixes it. The slash at the ending of the link. I dont think i can send the link without being flagged as spam
nevermind, removing / just sends to some other page that redirects me back, making it a loop!!!!
i can't offiicially download avidemux for windows now :D
Fosshub Avidemux download page (https://www.fosshub.com/Avidemux.html) works as before, maybe the way the link is set on Mean's Avidemux homepage is a problem (http instead of https).
You should be better off using a relatively recent nightly (developer) build (https://avidemux.org/nightly/) because the last official release has grown long in the tooth.
Hello, I can't download the latest version available on FossHub for Windows; the link redirects to the homepage. Is there another way to get the program?
Win64/VC++ 2.8.1 Install (64 bits), FossHub,
If you must have the VC++ version.

Alternatively.

Indeed, Fosshub seems to be effectively defunct, other applications are also affected. Sourceforge still works: https://sourceforge.net/projects/avidemux/files/avidemux/2.8.1/
However, using less outdated 2.8.2 nightlies generally provides a better experience.

Thanks for getting back to me; that other one really does work. Regarding the options in `nightly/win64/`, should I just grab the latest executable—the one from "Aug 6 2026 7:51 PM"?
To be honest, I'm not very familiar with these options.

Yes, that one, either installer- or ZIP-packaged. I hope that there will be new builds soon (within 1-2 weeks timeframe).
Please make sure to install / extract into an empty directory and never run multiple Avidemux instances concurrently (not just different versions, really instances).
