Hi,
I have found that Dummy is the only audio output used in Avidemux 2.5.4 Qt interface running in Fedora 14.
Changing output to any other audio device does not changes anything.
AudioDevice after restart always Dummy even if I set for example Alsa before restart.
No such problem in GTK+ based interface.
Also I have noticed that with russian locale window with Qt interface have blank title until file not opened.
Confirmed
Damn
Could you confirm that fixes the problem ?

Yes, 2.5.4_audioDevice.patch fixes problem. Thanks.
But there is still blank windo title with russian locale.

I have the same problem on MacOSX with version 2.6.0 (installed by brew):
'AudioDevice' parameter has
only 'Dummy' option.

This is not a bug but a known limitation (http://www.avidemux.org/smf/index.php/topic,10179.0.html) of AMD 2.6 on OS X.
