as a university exam, I would like to collaborate on your project "Avidemux". I installed it and tried it and I really like the project. Do you have any features you would like to implement? Could you give me some advices?

There are lots of small bugs, you could fix.
Or you could e.g. implement VP8 encoder (libvpx) to AVIdemux.
But I would suggest that you target AVIdemux 2.6
Agree with that. Target 2.6 and start looking for things that don't work, like x264 configure options where Adaptive B-Frame settings do not persist, but nobody knows if that's real or just the gui window not being accurate. If you find something and make a patch, submit it in the forums and start making your coding skills known. Eventually get yourself a login at developer.berlios.de I think is the place. Good luck!
